“30 things” is complete!!

So that is that, I am now 30 and my challenges are all complete. My fundraising is still open for another month (I think) but otherwise, I’m done!! I can’t thank you all enough for all of the support that you have given me over the last 12 months. It has been a really rather amazing journey! I have achieved things that I wouldn’t have thought I was capable of a year ago, I have met some truly wonderful people, forged new friendships and discovered new passions. I have healed quite significantly having faced my past head on (writing about what I experienced during and after my pregnancy was incredibly cathartic – I wish that I had realised it’s therapeutic power sooner), and to cap it all off I have raised funds and awareness for three charities close to my heart. I can’t think of a better way to start my days as a 30 year old 🌺

So… what now? What should be my next thing? Where do I go from here? A lot of people have, very kindly, complimented my blogs (thank you, thank you, thank you!), advising that I should continue writing. But now that my challenges are finished, I don’t know what I would write about 🤷🏻‍♀️ People say that you should write about what you know. I can tell you a books worth of what I don’t know about – astrophysics, equine care and plumbing to name a few. Don’t expect me to be seen in any publications of that nature any time soon! What I do know is about my life as a stay at home mother, however I am rather reluctant to go down this route. I know that there are a myriad of successful Mum bloggers, vloggers and mumprenours out there, and I applaud their accomplishments, but I can’t see it working for me and my family. So, suggestions on a post card please…

Those cakes though!

Until then, I am going to enjoy a bit of downtime with my family and, as I am a glutton for punishment, restart some running training. Despite never fully getting the running bug last year, I have signed myself up to both a 5km and a 10km Run in 2019. I am still not sure why I did this 🤔🤔🤔
